Gorgeous park with primitive camping options for up to six people for site,and a group camp area for up to 25 people may be more. First come first serve campsites with Ten sites available. Check out the website for exact details. For the most part it's just show up and register and follow the directions on the board, then you have to park your vehicle and walk to each site except the group site. Remember respect the Park and keep the parks clean. I recommend checking out the many activities the park has to experience.
There are miles and miles of hiking, biking and horse trails here. We have a beautiful deep gorge with a river running through it for fishing enthusiasts and anyone who wants to drift along on a tube. Enjoy the cool shade of the forested trails and hike to Big Lions Falls or just just head off on one of the many other trails and enjoy. There's plenty to do here and it's very family friendly.
I love this area. My daughter goes to church camp in this area. We always visit the Malabar Farm Gift shop for one of their homemade sodas. The colors in the fall are incredible and are a treat to see from the Ranger's tower. There is a Covered Bridge, and a hiking trail that leads you to a couple waterfalls. If you are from Ohio, it is a great day trip.
Absolutely beautiful views from the lodge. Great for corporate off-site or large family reunion. Can't say enough good things about this place
As a child this was my first camping experience, the memories stayed with me, my entire life. Now I get to share this with my children. There are so many beautiful sights to see, activities and amazing trails. It is a must see!
